Stowe Mission offers many community programs to enrich the lives of our neighbors by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Through our hunger, healthcare and educational programs, we work closely with our neighbors to bring hope and restoration to the lives of those facing hard times.

Hunger

Community Kitchen
Food Pantry

Stowe Mission opened the Community Kitchen in 1989 to feed the hungry and homeless people living in the Parsons Avenue neighborhood. The Community Kitchen provides a warm and safe gathering environment for people in need. Free hot lunches are served Monday – Friday every week from 11 – 12:30 pm.

The Stowe Mission Food Pantry provides groceries to low-income or no-income families and neighbors. Call 211 to schedule an appointment. Phone lines are open from 9 am – 3 pm five days a week.

Healthcare

Dental Clinic
Vision Clinic

Stowe Mission’s Dental Clinic provides free dental cleanings and extractions in the Central Ohio community. Our on-site dental clinic is staffed by professional dental volunteers and is open several times monthly by appointment.

The Stowe Mission Vision Clinic serves the community by providing free vision tests and vouchers for free glasses to neighbors who do not have insurance. Appointments for the Free Vision Clinic are available two days per month. Call 614-445-8400 for an appointment from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Stowe’s Pregnancy Resource Center provides pregnancy tests, education, parenting options, abortion and sexual integrity. The Pregnancy Resource Center is open Monday from 10 am – 6 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am – 4 pm, and Wednesday by appointment only.

Christian Services

The Stowe Mission School Programs value children and their futures. We offer a K-6 after-school program, Life Academy for middle school children, and two annual continuing education scholarships for high school students. Our programs provide a variety of benefits for children and families.

Stowe Mission offers a variety of Christian Services to meet the needs of our community. Two Christian church services meet at Stowe Mission. On Sunday morning, the Stowe Mission church services begin at 10 am with a fellowship time before the service. Stowe Mission also hosts a Laotian-speaking church service beginning at 12 pm.

Following our Community Kitchen lunch, we offer Bible Studies every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:30. Our neighbors benefit from Christian education, the sense of community and the hope of Jesus Christ.
