Meeting Healthcare Needs

Stowe Mission believes access to good dental and vision care is essential for everyone. Our community health services provide our neighbors with dental and optical professionals dedicated to caring for their patients. But providing good community health management is just a part of our goal. Stowe Mission welcomes neighbors into a loving, supportive community where they receive care for physical and spiritual needs.

Dental Clinic

Stowe Mission offers free quality dental care to those in need in the Columbus area. There are no zip code restrictions. The dental clinic is fully staffed by volunteer dentists, dental assistants and hygienists, and students from The Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College dental programs.

The Stowe Mission Dental Clinic features six dental chairs and provides free extractions and cleanings. Patients will receive free digital x-rays, pain medications and antibiotics when needed. A $10 donation is suggested to defray some clinic costs. This donation can be paid with a credit card after services have been provided. Treatment will be received even if a donation is not possible.

The free dental clinic is open several days per month. To schedule an appointment, call 614-445-8400 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Vision Clinic
The Stowe Mission Vision Clinic provides free eye exams to people who do not have insurance and cannot afford glasses. There are no zip code restrictions. Once the eye exam is completed, our licensed volunteer optometrists will issue a voucher for a free pair of glasses for qualified patients. These vouchers are made possible through our partnership with Prevent Blindness.
The vision clinic is open two times per month. Call 614-445-8400 between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm to request an appointment. You will be put on a waitlist and contacted when an appointment is available.

Pregnancy Resource Center

The Pregnancy Resource Center at Stowe Mission offers many educational resources for women facing unplanned pregnancies. Our pregnancy consultants provide open, non-judgmental discussions as women make life-altering decisions. We know that the next steps can be overwhelming, and the Pregnancy Resource Center also offers support through early childhood.

The Stowe Pregnancy Resource Center provides on-site pregnancy tests, free limited obstetrical ultrasounds, educational classes and individual coaching sessions. We are open Monday from 10 am – 6 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am – 4 pm and Wednesday by appointment only.
