Make a Difference this Summer

At Stowe Mission, our purpose is rooted in the teachings of the gospel, inspiring us to serve our neighbors in need.

For the summer months, we have launched a Summer of Sharing campaign. We invite you to play a significant role in bringing hope and support to those who need it most in our community. Monthly, you will receive updates and info about how to get involved with three major Stowe Mission programs. Through prayer and donations of time and money, we combat challenges our neighbors face daily – hunger, healthcare and educational needs. 

We have identified three vital areas where our community requires assistance:
hunger, healthcare, and education.

Hunger– Imagine the joy of providing nourishing meals to the hungry and ensuring that they have essential food items. Through our hot meals and food pantry programs, we can extend a helping hand to those who face the harsh realities of food insecurity. But our commitment continues beyond there.

Healthcare– We also strive to address healthcare needs, focusing on vision and dental care. By offering free services in these crucial areas, we can help improve the quality of life for our neighbors, ensuring they have access to the medical attention they need.

Education– Education is another cornerstone of our mission. We believe in empowering individuals through knowledge, and our after-school programs offer a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and develop essential life skills. The Pregnancy Resource Center is a valuable resource for women making challenging decisions offering information, support and compassionate guidance. In addition, our church services provide a spiritual sanctuary where individuals can find solace, support, and guidance.

Pray– Join us as we seek blessings and guidance to complete our mission. Your positive energy and spiritual support are invaluable to us.

Volunteer– Roll up your sleeves and actively participate in our programs. Whether serving meals, assisting with healthcare services, or engaging with the children in our after-school programs, your time and dedication will create a lasting impact.

Donate– Your financial support enables us to continue providing essential services to those in need. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps us make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
