Kelli’s Summer Of Sharing Notes
As the summer season comes to a close, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support and generosity. We are truly grateful that you decided to partner with Stowe Mission. What a blessing to confidently know we are supported daily by a God who loves, protects, and provides for us.
Here are some of the incredible achievements we’ve accomplished together this summer.
- Community Kitchen: Your support allowed us to provide hot lunches to nearly 300 individuals each weekday so they did not go hungry.
- Backpacks and School Supplies: Over 580 students received backpacks and essential school supplies, giving them the tools to succeed in their education.
- Summer Camp: Seven students from our after-school program had the opportunity to attend a weeklong summer camp. Four of these students accepted Christ, marking a truly transformative experience.
- Pregnancy Resource Center: Dozens of families received essential spiritual, emotional, and material aid through the Stowe Pregnancy Resource Center, offering the support they desperately needed.
- Samaritan’s Feet Partnership: Through our collaboration with Samaritan’s Feet, we distributed 500 pairs of shoes to neighbors during our August block party, providing comfort and dignity.
- Sharing the Gospel: More than 2,000 people had the chance to hear about the love of Jesus through prayer and sharing the Gospel, spreading hope and faith throughout our community.
As we transition into the upcoming season, we know our work is far from over. The needs in our community continue to grow, and we remain committed to being guided by the Gospel to help our neighbors in need.
